Rev. Etta Farrior

Rev. Etta W. Farrior is the newly appointed minister of the church and arrived from British Columbia in August, 2007. Etta earned her B.A. in History from the Univ of NC, her M.A. from Purdue, and her J.D. from Wayne State. She subsequently graduated and was ordained at Unity School of Christianity and brings to us her twenty plus years of ministerial experience. She pursued her Clinical Pastoral Education at Methodist Hospital of Dallas. She went on to earn an M.S. in Counseling at the Univ of North Texas and is a National Certified Counselor. She has also been educated in AZ at the American Academy of Bereavement and is Certified as a Facilitator. She is an astute business woman of much experience as well as a loving and gentle person. Etta welcomes all to the church as we welcome her. You will find her in the church office on N. Ann Street or perhaps at the beach with her dog as they readjust to Texas weather. Our church family grows in numbers and in spirituality, and shares with the community the desire for abundance, safety, well-being , love, and peace for each and everyone. Whether you live in Rockport or just visit, you are most welcome.
